The Hudson Valley, like countless communities across America, has been devastated by the radical open-border and sanctuary policies, transforming every town in our nation into a border town. Pat Ryan was an original leader in supporting illegal immigrants coming to the Hudson Valley. As far back as 2019, Pat Ryan turned Ulster County into a sanctuary county for illegal migrants. Pat Ryan stands side by side with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and has consistently supported their disastrous agenda, flinging our borders wide open for the world’s most dangerous criminals to flood in. No matter how desperately Ryan tries to erase his shameful record, we will ensure that voters never forget who he truly is. Pat Ryan’s record speaks for itself:
- As Ulster County Executive, Ryan made Ulster County a sanctuary county in 2019, barring ICE from working with local law enforcement to deport criminals.
- Voted against the Secure the Border Act (H.R. 2), the Laken Riley Act (H.R. 7511), and supported a Senate Border Bill that would have allowed 5,000 illegal migrants to cross our Southern border every day.
- Voted in support of allowing non-citizens to vote in U.S. Elections.
- Ryan supports Kathy Hochul’s sanctuary state policies that protect criminal illegal migrants in the Hudson Valley from deportation.
