For Immediate Release:

GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, released the following statement on Ariel Bibas, who turned five years old while being held hostage in Gaza:

Today is the 5th birthday of Ariel Bibas. He has been held hostage in Gaza for over 300 days. The Uncle of the Bibas family hostages and our neighbor, Maurice Shnaider, lives right here in the Hudson Valley. We all yearn for the day when Ariel, his little brother Kfir, and mother Shiri, are reunited with their family. The United States must stand firmly with Israel and we must do all we can to get all hostages back home safely,

Alison Esposito

Esposito has been steadfast in her support for Israel, and Maurice. Earlier this year, she joined the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County for a solidarity walk on the Walkway Over the Hudson to mark six months from the start of the war and to call on our leaders to bring all hostages home.
