For Immediate Release:

GOSHEN, NY – Today, Alison Esposito, a 25-year veteran of the New York Police Department (NYPD), former candidate for Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, issued the following statement following Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s remarks demanding new Israeli elections:

Senator Schumer’s call for new Israeli elections is grossly irresponsible and extremely offensive. The last thing Israel needs right now while they are at war against the terrorist organization Hamas are calls for the removal of elected leadership from the Senate Majority Leader. Between Pat Ryan voting against sending Israel $14 billion in aid and Senator Schumer calling for the ousting of their Prime Minister, far left Democrats are completely upside down on this. We must continue to unequivocally support Israel, our greatest ally, as they work to eradicate Hamas and bring home all of the remaining hostages. When I am in Congress, Israel can always count on my full support.
